This is my entry for the OoT fanart contest to win a Wii that ends tonight. I just made it. XD;;; The lineart was done over the course of a few weeks, so I have no idea how long it took me.... But I did the background and all of the coloring today, for about nine hours straight. X3 The base colors were tedius, but I had fun with the shading. This is just so typically ME, isn't it? "How many melodramatic light sources can i throw in one picture?!"
What can I say. I like things that glow. <3
Based on the scene at the end of the game after you beat Ganondorf and you suddenly have three minutes to get out of the castle. While it's crumbling. And random stalfos run up to fight you and only Link can fight them and only Zelda can open the doors. x____x If the princess can unlock doors, why the heck was she trapped to begin with?!
Such is game logic.
Drawn in open canvas 1.1, base colors and cheesy filter-made textures in adobe photodeluxe 4.0, and shading and crazy lighting effects in open canvas 1.1 again. Weapon of choice, you know.
stunning ;-; I am not even going to bother entering now I've seen all the fantastic ideas I love this but I would have thought Zelda would have been on the side waching or screaming like she does in this part '.'
But I love this one the best out of all who have entered
Gaaaah- detail detail, it's everywhere in this picture. From the brick-texture on the walls, to the frill of Zelda's dress, to the gold-shine of her armor, to the several Stalfos popping out, it's amazing.
You definitely caught the moment, one that I honestly hated in the game~ Time limits scare me skinless.
But I'm extremely glad that you added the 'detail' deviation because I doubt anyone would've noticed all the work that went into Zelda's outfit and Link's sheath. Overall, it's been a long time, so seeing your work pop up in my inbox was a complete delight <3
Eee. So beautiful!!! *tears up* I wish I could draw like this.... but, then again, I don't. 'Cause then I'd be sococky over my art I probably would be too blinded by arrogance to see your work!!
.... man, now this makes me want to go and play some more Twilight Princess... I'm kind of angry at it, though, because I had gotten half way through the Lakebed Temple on my GameCube .... then I got my Wii ... and had to get Twilight Princess for the Wii, because I'm totally lame .... and now everything is reversed and it's hard to get around. XD And it's kind of annoying for me to have to do everything over again that I JUST did .... okay, I shut up now...
