According to the offical art from OoT, Epona has blue eyes. ... They HAVE to be contacts. That poor horse.

Anyway, this is for squee43 who requested Link and Epona. Wasn't easy, either... I don't draw horses nearly often enough. So forgive the anatomical errors. >.>

The background's based on the opening of Ocarina of Time, which shows Link calavanting about Hyrule in the early morning hours. It's like the boy doesn't sleep. Again, I say... that poor horse.

This, believe it or not, is about 30% of the original size. Yeah, I worked HUGE on this one. So a close-up of Link and 'Pona's pretty faces will be posted as quickly as I can type. ^^

Link and Epona were sketched, inked, and colored in Open Canvas 1.1. The background was sketched and colored in Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0

lovely. the errors are very minor, you did a lovely epona. And some horses do have blue eyes, though often blue eyes have weak vision, it's not always the case though. But i've a horse named Patches, one blue eye one brown. ^_^

open canvas, where do you find the program? I've seen it mentioned alot and been thinking of trying it.. the colors are so pretty

The coloring impressed me.
Lovely how you drew the head of Epona. BUT I don't think it looked so good at that kinda pic. She looks like she is scared to death. And Link is mostly normal in his exspression. The head is really good. don't misunderstand me, but it didn't fit well.
Link is sitting weird on her to (Belive me, I have been riding in over 7 years :) ). I think he is leaning to much forward. If you sat at a horse like that you would have lost your balance a lot easier.
But, WOW, Link looks REALLY good! The anatomi is perfect... I think! *Look*. Aaah, his back is to short though. But it's not a big error!
You have seriously done a really good job. It's just me who is a little picky ^^
Hope it's okey to say some negative too. I didn't ment to be mean or anything. Just helping. :)

Annnnnnnnnddddd........Epona's mane looks like it could have been a pain to draw and cg, can't stop loving this.
