Artist's Comments

I did three or four versions of this picture. >>;; Here's the one closest to my original design, complete with stainedglass background. The two characters in the back were actually copied and pasted from older fanarts of mine, then servely edited. If you recognize them... wow, that's pretty scary. >>;;; I barely recognize them myself. ^^;

open canvas 1.1, adobe photobusiness deulxe, and a LOT of layers. >>;

I think the previos one was better... In this one, ganondorf looks like he's glowing because I can't find the light source...

yeah, he does. XD I couldn't manage to keep the brightness I wanted AND the stained glass. I had to pick one or the other,w hich is why the other version is the one I prefer. But it still seems a shame to get rid of the windows after I made such a pretty, detailed border. :/

I get what you mean...^^
How about moving the background to the right so that it looks like sunlight is streaming into the place? Am I making sense? ^^;

If you put some more glow in the stained glass, it should look much less like he's glowing and more like he's just shiny reflective. :D

I like this version much better, just because I despise empty space and the stained glass was done relatively well.

Except, most stained glass uses a series of straight lines to make a curve. The iron casters rarely bend the iron to make a curve, it would weaken the support. :D

I think I prefer this one, the stained glass 1) takes up the empty space and 2) It's kinda thought provoking. It's makes you think 'hmmmm what's he going to do? The glass is so fragile and beautiful... is that a reflection on the characaters of Link and Zelda? Is that glow an inner power that could now get the better of them, that could allow him to destroy them as easily as he could destroy the glass? (despite that you already admitted that you couldn't get the effect you wanted ^^;)

...okaaaay I started rambling again! Whoopsie, sorry! Basically, this is a wonderful picture! Well done! :clap:

The betrayal you can see is trivial. What is truly fearsome is the betrayal you don't see.
:iconskwinky:
Wow! The detail you put in this is amazing. I really like the omnimous feeling in leaves with you too. It's almost... bitter sweet. But the lighting in this is so fine tuned to a point and the details are so exentuated this deserves to be favorited more than it currently is.
